Horseshoe Bend

The first station, after leaving Las Vegas. The beginning of our 14 day road trip through western U.S. 

Horseshoe Bend, one of the most photographed areas of the Colorado River, located just north of the Grand Canyon and outside Page, Arizona.

After leaving highway 89, there is a parking area where we left our car. It was very hot and we had to hike for about 15 - 20 minutes to reach the view point. 

We were blown away by the beauty of the landscape and how huge the canyon is. 

Due to the intense heat and an appointment on the other side of Page, Arizona, we didn't have much time and had to leave way to early!
