Doud Creek

What a mystical place! But let me tell from the beginning. 

We heard of this place a few months before we started our trip to western USA. "Calla Lillies of Doud Creek". Somewhat hidden between Highway 1 and the pacific ocean, near Big Sur in California. If you google this place, you will find the typical photos with white flowers and sunset. We expected some beautiful Lillies and nice, sunny weather. 

Nope!

As we arrived, the weather was very chilly and misty. This was not what we have expected and we were very pissed in the beginning and discussed for a while if we leave the car or leave the place and go on. But we decided to adopt the situation and started to discover the area. Today I am glad we did!

What a beautiful, magical and unreal place!
